Now Provini Marketing employs five full-time people in Durham, represents about 50 male and female models and handful of bands, plus handles the social media and marketing campaigns for over 20 Connecticut businesses. “It’s a niche business and I believe in her ability to grow it,” said Patrick Ganino, the owner of Social Tuna, a marketing firm that represents a lot of high-end clothing brands. Meet Julie Dawson the Face of Provini Marketing!

Julie Dawson – The Face of Provini Marketing – Recaps her Experience Competing in the Provini Marketing Model Search Going about my day-to-day routine and checking my email, I saw a message in my inbox from Provini Marketing announcing I was a top 10 finalist in their model search contest for a chance to become the new face of the company! The day of the competition I drove to Naomi’s Studio & Salon in West Hartford, where her team of stylists were ready to glamorize all of the contestants. I heard a lot of positive feedback about the salon before the competition, so I was very excited for a little pampering. And really, who doesn’t love having their hair and makeup done?! After doing a “walk through” of how the night would go, all the models lined up for pictures by Matt Sauro Photography in front of a sponsor backdrop like you see at all the Hollywood events – red carpet and all! As guests were starting to arrive at Shish, all the models had a chance to talk and hang out backstage while the host, Tracey Kane, kicked off the night with opening remarks and introduced the audience to the first performer for the evening, singer Krystal Gravel, aka Krystal Lynn. The models danced, (or at least I did), on the sidelines waiting for Tracy to introduce the top 10 finalists to the audience and judge panel. The judges included actor...
